These are the youngest of all the Dow’s wood-aged Ports, having been aged on average 3 years in oak casks.
These wines are carefully made from the finest grapes in the Douro valley. During the ageing process, the wines are tasted regularly and, when they are considered to be ready, they are blended with all the care of a premium quality Port, but are bottled when ready for immediate consumption.
The result is a range of Ports with the fine balance and flavour, worthy of the Dow’s name.
Dow’s is entirely owned and managed by the Symington family, Port producers since the 19th century.
Today, the Symington family own 1,006 hectares of vineyards in the Douro region, the largest of any producer. The company remains 100% family owned with 5 family members actively working in the company.
The Douro valley enjoys a unique status as the world’s oldest demarcated wine region and UNESCO world heritage site.
Dow’s Fine White is made from traditional white grape varieties from the Douro valley.
Serve chilled with tonic water, ice, mint and lemon for the perfect summer drink.
